GF baking. J. made these and they were gooood.
We went to see Formula 1 GP at Silverstone.
And then it poured rain on the way home. (The picture up top? A picturesque spot where the turbo on our new-to-us car blew up.)

What I actually broke: chipped first metatarsal, fractured base of 2nd and 4th metatarsals. So. Lisfranc fractures. Never google them, it’s a terrifying injury when it comes to healing.

So nice to hear from you. Summer is always a great time for Harry Potter. Thank goodness for that. A good GF site is Elana’s Pantry if you haven’t seen it already. She has lots of delicious looking Items. Hope today is better than yesterday. Nice pink on the cast by the way…if all else fails hot pink is a happy color!

Oh Phoe, sorry to hear you’re hurt! I had a lisfranc injury some years ago (achieved the classic way with a horse falling on foot). It was excruciatingly painful, and does take time to heal – but it does heal. Physio when you’ve had the cast taken off will make a huge difference. Love the pink cast btw. Sending many happy healing thoughts.
