Well, hopefully. This week, Longstock Water Garden from April. This time, film.
All taken on Canon EOS-3, Lucky Super 200 film. Back when it was more summery than summer.
Health: Another 2 weeks or so until I get the foot looked at again. Have physio for the neck the same day.
Reading: Everything ever. See Goodreads for the details.
Watching: The Olympics, of course!
So. Let’s try for more catching up next weekend. In the meantime, have a good one.
Yup. Still on crutches. Suck.
GF baking. J. made these and they were gooood.
We went to see Formula 1 GP at Silverstone.
And then it poured rain on the way home. (The picture up top? A picturesque spot where the turbo on our new-to-us car blew up.)
More reading (Harry Potter.)
Watching the films as I read the books. (Note the new pink cast.)
What I actually broke: chipped first metatarsal, fractured base of 2nd and 4th metatarsals. So. Lisfranc fractures. Never google them, it’s a terrifying injury when it comes to healing.
Wow, I’ve Not Gotten Photos Off My Phone For Awhile:
Failed Polaroid experiment.
Driving by Stonehenge.
Books. Getting me through this.
Re-reading the HP series to help.
Chocolate. Not been able to eat it though, my stomach’s still very tender.
Kind friends who send you chocolate when you complain of having none. (J’s eaten it all. Poor guy’s been stressed and run ragged as well.)
12 hours in the hospital, most of it spent paralysed. Not fun.
Yet another half cast.
What an amazingly difficult 2 weeks. 4 new half casts (swelling is still a huge issue, turns out that walking boot caused a lot of problems), 3 days recovering from a terrible medicine reaction (codeine paralysis. Who knew? Also, epic puking.), 2 hospital trips, 1 ambulance (see the bad med reaction) and 0 happy. Add in the neck issue (officially been told – no knitting. Hopefully it’s temporary but still.) Just, ugh. I’ve not touched my camera, 365 has died. No typing, no knitting, no moving about. It’s been tough.
At least I got a new Kindle replacement. Without it, I’d be well and truly sunk. Not to mention bored. Send more books!
Here sporadically for the moment. Not how I planned to spend this summer.
