Well, sorta. It’s gotten hot again here and the change is kicking this flare up a notch.
Knitting:
Lots of non-photographed stuff: more hexes, a cardigan, 2 fingering weight sweaters and a shawl.
Reading: Emma by Jane Austen. I finally managed to get to the library today and it looks like it’s a women’s literature sort of autumn. Eudora Welty, Virginia Woolf, Anne Bronte… Yeah.
Watching: The Vicar of Dibley. Always cheers me up. And if you watch the ending, Richard Armitage is in the last two episodes. And boy howdy, is that man a dreamboat.
Day in the Life:
Alice posted the other day that Friday was the next installment in the Day in the Life project. I thought I’d give it a try.
My grandmother made this pillowcases and embroidered them. I got them when she died and have used them ever since.
Tea time.
Getting to work. (Please ignore my tattered wrist rest cover.)
The best light in the house.
Browned butter nutella and dark chocolate chunk cookies. YUM. (Adapted from this recipe. They really are the easiest cookies ever. Subbed half the butter with nutella.)
Well, like I said. Kinda.
Have a great rest of the weekend.

Beautiful pictures as ever! Those cookies look so good too. I have added your link to the list.
