Believe it or not all this beauty is fairly local. Quite exotic for me as well, I’m used to evergreen forests.

Whatsoever We Feel

Knitting:

Fawkes socks are done… and too big for me. I broke my own rule regarding cast on numbers. 64 is always going to be too big. Otherwise, two shawls (Blue Ishbel, Ruby Is A Shawl) and another pair of socks (The Mighty Favog – and if you recognize the name you get a cookie).

Reading:

Trying to read Jonathon Strange and Mr Norrell and finding it tedious. This could be because it’s one of those books I picked up because I felt I “should” read it and because I have a stack of much more interesting looking books to get through.

Listening To:

Bitstream Dream and Chill, mainly.

Watching:

Twilight. I think we’ve seen it like four times so far. J. likes it but does not understand the American obsession with highschool. I love it (as do my siblings, we’ve had discussions about it) but also find it a bit weird. I had to look to see if Stephenie Meyer went to my highschool because it all sounded so familiar. Hi, I went to highschool in Twilight. Very weird.
